Ballast Water Poetry is a site-specific writing performance that uses cargo ships as mobile sculptures as well as blank pages for poetry. Each piece is written close to the outlets to highlight the act of discharge, a piece of ocean transported from one part of the earth to another and becoming an environmentally invasive waste.
